wireless N card

connected to network or not, what's the difference?

if I just pull it out w/o safely removing hardware, dmg, yes or no?

any other thoughts?

I have hot plugged them for years - never a problem. Pulling a network card would not be much different than turning built-in Wi-Fi on and off with a button onthe laptop.

now that is awesome...

thx guys

do you know if this will work the same for SATA/IDE/SCSI PC card-type removal?

Can't speak to SATA/IDE, but SCSI I have removed - as long as it was not in use at the time. Same for Firewire and USB. As long as they are not actually in use, I see no problem.
