Laptop pad coolers - what features should they have?

I need help on this one. I'm writing a peice on nexgen laptop pad coolers.

Options here are:
1. Portablility of cooler? Will you carry your cooler around?
2. Fans or no fans?
3. USB hub - side or top?
4. Numeric keypad on cooler pad?

Guys let me know your thoughts.
 
1: Would not carry the cooler around if i had one. When going portable, my laptop is running in a lower power state.
2: Fans
3: Hub should be on the back of the cooler, so the cables can be as hidden as possible.
4: meh
