Is there a laptop (or accessory/addon device, via usb, etc.) which is capable of delivering same sound/audio/music quality that can be
had with a desktop computer which has audio processing either on the motherboard or via plugin audio card when using either a 2.1 or
5.1 speaker system designed for use with a desktop computer, i.e. has audio jack plug to receive its input ?

Thanks.

You could just pipe it to a soundbar w/ BT. I have my projector connected via BT and sounds just as good as when it was hooked up with HDMI.

I'm currently using a YAZ109 but prior was using a heavier duty Sony HT5000 for Atmos and booming bass. Further more I think you're looking for something you can plug in a 3.5mm into a RCA coax input or RCA split L/R. On the cheap I don't think you'll find much that sounds decent. The SB option though is relatively cheap though under $200 Refurb for $99 - https://www.accessories4less.com/ma...ndbar-w/alexa-dual-built-in-subwoofers/1.html

There's a 209 model as well that adds the powered SW to the mix and IIRC those are closer to $300 for both parts.

There are lots of cheap ones online if you don't need something fancy...
