Laptop or Cellphone?

I am stuck between getting a laptop or a cellphone what should i get and which kind? If i get a phone it will need texting and if a laptop i will need good speed and wireless internet capablities.

What are your needs? You can get a prepaid phone free, or close to it(what I use), you just can't be frivolous with your calling. A laptop does more, but if you're just getting one because it's "cute", why bother?
