Laptop/Notebook Chipset Comparisions

Hey guys..
Theres heaps and heaps of reviews out there for Desktop computers graphics chips capabilities.. What about some comparisions and reviews for the mobile/portable markets as well?? It would be interesting to see since Notebooks are becoming cheaper and also more and more common. Like.. there isn't many articles that would explain the nth Generation of ATI Mobility chipsets, or the differences in the Trident Cyberblades etc.. all we hear about is "Brand A's Geforce 2 MX is 1 FPS faster than Brand B's Geforce 2 MX" Anybody from Anandtech like to take a different challenge?

There's not much reviews on the video chips for notebooks out there, since Laptops aren't really for games. The only exception is any notebook based on the geforce2 go chipset. THis is roughly equivalent to a geforce 2mx. Sony's new top of the line notebook features the radeon mobility, not too much info on that chip but it should be pretty good. The older ati mobility card's are not good for games. I have a dell inspiron 4000. It has an ati rage mobility 128 8mb chip. It could be used for rpg's and counterstrike. Dell, gateway, and toshiba are the only company with nvidia graphics chips. The new toshiba satellite 3000 looks pretty good. U should do some research on it. Its ~$1400 and u get a p3-900mhz, 14" tft screen, 20 gig HD, dvd, nic, modem, geforce2go 16mb ddr, it weighs under 6 lbs.
