In the past, i've always been able to put the system into sleep mode and let it stay that way for a day or two, without a problem, even on batteries.... Usually when woken up, the percentage only dropped 5-7%...

Lately however, i dont think the system is sleeping properly, as even when i sleep it with 50-60% left, its dead within a few hours.

Tried all three batteries i have (different ages), and all have the same problem.

lol j/k... have you changed your power setting (or signed in on a different user account) or re-installed OS?

lol, yea played with the power settings a few times, no luck... the sleep light comes on, it acts just like it used to while sleeping, even wakes up like normal... just kills the battery

Fairly new install too, only reformatted a few weeks ago...

try getting into the BIOS and see if you can change any settings there. since it's a laptop... maybe it has to be something that was on the factory's OS that is not there anymore (fresh install). when i wiped my old laptop's win98 with win2000, a lot of drivers etc was gone.
