Laptop Memory Question

Here's the deal... I got a great deal on a 512MB stick of memory for my laptop. The only drawback is that it is packaged by Centon as made for G4 Macs. All other specs are identical to what I need it for... PC2700, DDR 333 etc. My question is will this work with my Dell Inspiron, or should I sell this off and get "IBM Compatible" memory?
 
Should work. I gleemed 2x512 meg sticks from some apple "lamp" and it worked fine in my HP laptop.
 
Thanks Oyeve! Thats what I thought, one of my IT guys at work was saying that it wouldnt work, but he never seems to know what hes talking about. Most of the people in the department dont even like him. Anyone else have any thoughts still welcome to share!
