I don't know much about lappies. I have a t-20 ibm and I am thinking of getting additional ram. You think this dell stuff will work on my ibm t20?

hojl,

If the picture at the Dell site is correct, that SODIMM may be too
wide for our Thinkpads. It sure would be nice if vendors would put
the manufacturer's part number in their specs.

thanks gkhowell. I figure I will not prob buy the ram from crucial. I have had good dealings with crucial and they let me specify exactly what part I need from the pull down menu.

<< This seems to be a better deal than the BB one which is 45 - 10 (rebate). >>

Umm... that is $35.. yeah there is tax.. but it fits in the A,T series IBMs and comes with lifetime warranty.

I think the BB deal ends on saturday for anyone that wants to get in on it.. there were only 2 left in my local BB.

Socool, the 20% Off coupon code can be found at any coupon site, and it expires 6/19/01.

Update -

Just got an email from Dell saying the item is "backordered." The new maximum shipment date is now 7/6. I figure it'll be worth the wait since the 128mb I currently having isn't totally killing me in terms of performance.

Anybody know if this stuff will work in an IBM TP 600. Sure wish they would give more spec's on it.
