I am looking for some 256 32x8 pc133 sodimms ram for my laptop, does brand really matter? what brand would yougo for if it is?
 
My brother always buys Crucial ram for his laptops,for quality/compatibility it`s one of the best choices.
 
yes, ram does matter depending on the chipset the laptop uses. name brands tend to be more compatible. my dad was cheap so he just buys different generic memories on ebay and all of them arent compatible with his sager notebook. go figure. like mem, i always pick crucial for notebooks.
