laptop max memory is 80mb but there are only 8/16/32mb sticks and two slots how can I possibly get 80mb?

Maximum 80MB(60ns)
by 8/16/32MB 72-pin standard DIMM Module in two slots

so max is really 64mb? anyone know how I can get 80mb

Most laptops have some memory built in, 16 megs seems like a fair amount, and would make the max 80 megs.

Standard is 16MB as given. That's built in directly onto the motherboard. The 2 slots allow you to add an additional 64MB, 32MB in each slot.

64 + 16 = 80.
