Laptop LCD wiring

I have a Samsung Sens Pro 500 Laptop, with a model LT121S1-103, 12.1" TFT LCD. I am interested in creating a VGA input adapter for it. I have seen boards for sale but was looking to do it myself. I have found the documentation on the input for the LCD itself (41 pin connection), but I think I may be able to use the built in timing convertor, LCD drive circuit, and gate drives, leaving me with only the 30 pin connector from the top panel of the laptop to the mainboard. I have had no success in finding the details for this connection, or whether or not i could continue to use the mainboard (possibility of just adding in VGA input to the graphics controller?). Any info would be appreciated.
