My otherwise functional CTX ezbook 700e boots to a blank white screen. The video card is fine -- i get a display when i plug in an external monitor. I figure the problem lies in the lcd panel itself (a sharp lq12s56 b) or one of its controller boards.

I know practically nothing about lcds myself. I'd appreciate it if somebody would let me know what's what and how I might be able to fix it.
