laptop lcd screen has two white lines

i turned on my laptop yesterday and there is two horizontal white lines in the middle of the screen about 1.5" away from each other. it starts showing in the system post and won't go away even in windows xp. is there a way to fix this? my warranty expired two months ago.
 
its POSSIBLE the data cable has come loose just so, and the screen isnt receiving data for those columns, but i doubt that, your screen has probably crapped
