Laptop LCD questions

hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 4100 with XP Home pre-installed. I just wiped it out and put in XP Pro. When I go to System->Hardware->Device Manager, there are two entries in 'Monitors'. One is 'Plug and Play Monitor', the other 'Default Monitor'. I am guessing one is the LCD, obviously and the other for the 'twinview/dualhead' VGA out? or should I have just one? Do laptop LCD screens generally appear as 'Plug and Play Monitor' or 'Default Monitor'?

I'm wondering because I think for some reason the screen look different when I had XP Home... strange. Besides Powerstrip, what utility can I use to fine-tune a laptop LCD? Also, where can I find 'performance' driver for GF2 Go under XP? Thanks a lot!

You can't really fine tune a laptop LCD. Basicly, those extra display adapters that are listed are the laptops VGA out connectior on the back and the TV out if your laptop has one.

Try turning on ClearType if it isn't on already.
