Last Month my laptop got shocked and I repaired it from a repair shop & he repaired and said ur MOBO's chip got burnt so I replaced it (same old components only chip was changed) after repairing -----------
Keys like Spacebar acting as TAB , Down button as F1 and column of keys 3|E|D|C also not working properly and when I show him again he said ur Keyboard has got his life and this damage is not repairable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So My question is
++++++IS HE right there is nothing I can do and also the keyboard seem loose from one side ??????????
P.S- My laptop is 6 Years old (HP 07 model)

Try a new technician... He could be right but possibly you just need a second opinion. If the LT got shocked, there's a great probability he's right.
