I have an Acer Aspire 5672WLMi and I seem to be having keyboard problems. Anytime I plug in a USB keyboard it seems to make my laptop keyboard funky. It will make the letter U,J, M, I, K, O, L numbers and the ; will be + and P will be - .... and so on. Is there a way I can fix this? I cant type anything on it like this.

You're plugging a keyboard into your laptop and then want to type on your laptop keyboard?

yea im a little perplexed as well...

but my guess is simply that the usb keyboard is changing some settings to allow for the different setup on the new keyboard. not like it matters because why would anyone need to use two keyboards at the same time? one for each hand? you must type at 20words/sec or something, now that i have to see.

haha, no thats not it.

this is after I unplug the keyboard and am at work trying to use it.

The keys are still funky like this.

I have tried uninstalling drivers, removing, still no luck. how can I default it?

oh lol ok now that dosent make no sense at all! ive heard that you could have issues if you have the numlock key enabled with the external keyboard and then unplugging it. try plugging it back in, clicking it, and unpluging it.
