Laptop & Internal Mini PCI network adapters...

I got a few of these dell notebook with internal mini pci adapters. They got the little wires running along side of lcd or the notebook. Almost all the newer notebook uses the same mini pci for wireless now.

I'm assuming these antenna may not be compatible with 802.11n next year ? Do you guys think they'll make any internal mini pci wireless for older notebook ?

I dont want to be stuck with one of those external pcmcia ones..

802.11n uses the 2.4Ghz band, just like 'b' and 'g', so the internal antenna will theoretically work.

I have no idea if anyone will produce the cards though.

same ones...I'm testing some new Dell N cards right now. Looks like decent gains (15 mb/s versus 50 mb/s in sustained file transfers. 100ish feet, through walls)
