laptop ide odd to sata

Oops. I bought a slim Panasonic slot-in Blu-Ray DVD Burner Player UJ-225 off ebay to use in my new SG08 build. I didn't realize it was a IDE laptop drive. My bad. Is there an adapter I can use to go to SATA?

There are adapters, but my suggestion is you return it and see if you can get a native SATA ODD instead.

Not slower than the average ODD.

Might be an issue for SSDs or faster HDDs.

I may have to follow the advice about returning the drive, as none of those adapters will work. Thanks
