I've decided to sell my desktop and buy a laptop thats good enough for gaming. For about 1200ish I can get a dell that has a 1.6ghz core duo, 512mb of ram and a 7800 go vid card. I dont care about the ram because I plan to upgrade that seperately anyway. The dell has a 17 inch screen with a 1440x900 16x10 rez which is good enough for me. Anyone know if there is anything comparable to this with a better vidcard or where I can look, I can't seem to find too much laptop stuff online, thanks in advance.

I'd stay away from Dell.
Google with 'Dell recall' and you'll find over the years how many time they have recalled battery. adapter, power cord, etc.

Nice deal. I think thats one of the best deals on the market right now. 16 pipelines on the 7800 go card. Good processor. Great desktop replacement for a half reasonable price.

yea I think I'm going to jump on that, I just wish I could get a better card then the 7800 go like the 7800 go gtx. I also cant decide now if I want the Trulife finish or not. Is the only difference the glossy finish?
