Laptop help, Screen blank...

I got a AmeriNote RL366C from CompUSA. When the system reboot it show the make and bio on screen and it goes to blank
I used external monitor and it shows on the external monitor reboot ro window 98 with no problem but the laptop screen just blank (It only show a few seconds when boot up).

Any one has this experience and how to work around it?
