Can you connect a laptop HD to a regular desktop? I have a Ibm thinkpad 755CE and a 800meg hard drive that I would like to transfer info to via my desktop. I just want to transfer slackware onto it because I dont have a CD with the laptop.:music:
 
Yes you can... 2 ways to do so.

1) 2.5" to 3.5" IDE convertor....
2) An external USB enclosure.

The former is cheaper, the latter is more convinient...
