Laptop HD search

I'm looking for a 120 gig 9.5mm laptop HD that used the standard IDE interface to go into an external case. I cannot seem to locate one online that has all of the specs easy to read to see if it will work. Does anyone know of such a beast?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys!

Question, will ATA 7 still work(standard IDE interface?)?

Because I found this for a better price I think. With a factory 3 year warranty.

Fujitsu

Hi, If all else fails pick up a 2 1/2" to 3 1/2" drive cable adaptor. They are around $10.00 in my area. It plugs onto the Laptop drive so that the 40 pin IDE connector and the power connectors will fit. Some come with brackets to mount the drive in a 3 1/2" drive bay. Good Luck, Jim

Buying the drive to put in a 2.5" external case with a usb interface. Portable storage for music, applications and movies.

Hi Nite, Your post indicated that you needed an adaptor to get the drive into the case. Naturally you need no adaptors to use the 2 1/2" case. Jim

Sorry, I thought that saying laptop drive at the beginning of the sentence would kind of tie in with IDE and people would be able to tell I ment laptop IDE interface...
