laptop harddrive question

Recently, my harddrive in the Sony F430 laptop died. I am looking for a replacement but I don't know which to buy or where to buy. Moreover, does anyone know if I can upgrade the videocard in that laptop? It has only 2.5MB video RAM and I would love to upgrade it to a videocard with at least 4 MB.
Thanks
Alex

I recommend you replace it with an IBM Travelstar. You can get them for a good price from Newegg ($150 for 40GB). I seriously doubt you can upgrade the video card. Only a few of the newest laptops have upgradeable video cards. If it has shared memory architecture you may be able to increase the amount of memory used for the video card in the bios. Otherwise you are out of luck. 🙁
