Laptop Gaming Benchmarks

Anyone know where I can go to see a test with gaming performace between Pentium-M laptops using:

Mobility Radeon 9000
Mobility Radeon 9600
NVIDIA® GeForceTM 4 4200 Go
NVIDIA® GeForceTM FX Go5650 Go
NVIDIA® GeForce? FX Go5200

Thanks!

You can use the same benchmarks that desktops use, Q3, JK2, 3dm2k1 and 2k3, X2, Aquamark, etc. If you want to test battery life, Futuremark makes MobileMark, but I don' think there is a free version. You could always just loop 3dmark in a continuous loop and set the notebook to kick out when battery life hits 10% . . . and keep a stop watch handy . . . but there's probably an easier way.

There used to be a thread where a bunch of people posted their bench scores in 3dMark for their laptops. Since I can't find it right now, I'll assume it's dropped into the forum abyss. Anyway, for starters you can try looking at this AnandTech article which has benches for the Mobility 9000 and the GeForce 4 4200 Go on the Pentium M.

Since the M10 (Radeon 9600) is so hard to come by, I haven't seen any numbers for that videocard with a P-M. As for the nVidia cards, well, your guess is as good as mine...

FWIW, my T40p hits just under 1000 3dMark03's. The poor score is attributed to the card being DX8 only (3dMark03 is a DX9 benchmark).

HTH!
