Laptop for under 1500

ok i revised my question...wich is the better option...

or if anyone has a different option i shud go with. He wants a superior gaming laptop for under 1500.. preferably less....

The Asus, no question. The GTX 660M beats out the M14x you posted, and comes $100 cheaper compared to the M17x for a similar GPU. Pocket that Benjamin and buy a few games to feed your new Asus. The only negative is the lack of an SSD, but that doesn't affect gaming at all in terms of framerates, and one can easily be added later if there's room for a second drive.

Really the "basic" M17x is $100 more cause the base 1600 x 900 screen is YUCK.
