laptop for portable gaming

What kind of notebook do I need to run older games like starcraft, baldurs gate and other games around that time but still have a little headroom for newer ones if needed? I was looking at OCZ do-it-yourself laptops, are they any good? Thanks for the ideas.

What do you mean by newer games, and what's a realistic budget?

See the other gaming laptop thread for recommendations in the $700-1,000 range for something with a real 3D card.

Just have a look at the recommended requierments on the old and newer games you want to play and choose a laptop that fits both. BTW any 1.8Ghz dual core is greater than or equal to a 3GHZ single core as far as system requierments go. The key thing is the onboard video being used.
