laptop for missing critical trading

Hello All

I run a stock trading business. I need to buy a laptop in order to be able to run my trading from the road (I know bad idea, but I have to leave my office...).

Cost is not really an issue, although I don't want to waste any money.

I need a laptop that can handle the most mission critical applications. The applications themselves are not too demanding... but I would like to be able to run quite a few applications at the same time:

Outlook
Excel
Internet Exploroer
Bloomberg
online trading application
simple C++ code
Skype

I can't tolerate ANY crashing. I don't care if it is heavy (of course light is better, but I can live with heavy). I think I would like a big screen so it is easy to see what is running).

I was thinking of getting DELL PRECISION. or maybe LEVENO... I really don't know... any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!!

Lenovo is one of the more reliable brands out there. As far as crashing due to software issues, thats mostly up to the user 😛

QFT! I use my Lenovo on the road for exactly those reasons given by OP. It is reliable, and there are almost no places in the CONUS I can't connect with my EVDO Rev. A broadband card.

I question AT&T finding the Internet onm an atoll in the South Pacific with Amelia Earhardt's Lockheed Electra in the background. 🙂
