Laptop for Battlefield 3; High settings, 1080P - Is it reasonable?

I'll finally be upgrading soon, and was wondering if something exists that would be a relatively safe bet for BF3 at high settings and preferably 1080P. I know the game is not out, but assuming BF3 is 25% more demanding that BFBC2 (just a guess) gives me a starting point.

Will I have to throw down the cash for a Geforce GTX 485M? Or perhaps mid-range like an ATI 5850? As far as CPU is concerned I've read that BF3 will be optimized for quad-core, so that will be a requirement as well.

If anybody has any recommendations I'd love to hear them. I'm kind of assuming sandy bridge will be in full supply in a couple of months so I'll shoot for that, unless of course I can find a smoking deal on something else. Thanks~

The GTX 485m can only get about 50 FPS in BFBC2 at 1920x1080 so for BFBC3 to get 50+ (playable) you would need GTX 485m in SLI. Found pretty much only on the NP7280-S1 It also comes with the desktop variant of the Core i7 960. BUT comes with a cool price tage of about $3,700

I would get the single most powerful graphics card that you can afford (GTX 485M, for example), and just accept the fact that you MIGHT have to turn some settings down. Notebooks don't last forever in terms of being able to play the newest games, but if you make a compromise with some settings, they can be quite capable for a significant amount of time.

Otherwise, a desktop is the only way to go.

At max settings BFBC2 will run at 30 fps @1080p on a gtx460M.

Option 1:
get something with the GTX460M (and lower settings when bf3 comes out) for about 1300 bucks
Option 2:
upgrade to the gtx485 (which might be just enough for bf3) for 1800 bucks.

Option 3:
Go nuts and get a gtx4xx sli or one of the ati hd69xx crossfire laptops. (which should easily handle bf3 at any settings, but in my opinion is far beyond the point of reason)
