Find the folders and delete them if they don't have an uninstall routine in the folder.

im no computer geek, but i dont think that is recommended.

It might not be the best way, but it works. Delete the folders, remove any items from startup, and if you feel like it, get rid of the registry entries. Like GPB said though, they sound more like links than actual programs.

New laptop?

I would just wipe that puppy down and put a fresh VISTA on it.

You're machine will prolly run better that way...

No....

Just reinstall. You have a legit copy of Vista or KEY, you don't have to spend a dime.

Also, if you have the time, use vlite and creating an optimized (and updated with SP1) version with as little crap as possibile...

Just a thought.

vlite is a great program which allows you to customize your vista install dvd:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlite

I am not entirely certain what your Vista Restore DVD is (be it proprietary or not), but as long as you have a legit Vista key, vlite is a program that has easy to follow directions which allow you to legally burn a fresh copy of Vista, updated with SP1 and other patches/drivers of your choosing, without UAC, crapware, or almost anything you can think of. Read up on it, it's a very, very easy process.

OK, can hardly type now. I have to go to bed. Good luck, Solo...
