Does anyone know of a source for the small fans used in laptops? I am looking to replace the stock unit in a friend's Compaq 1694 with a better unit.

dare I ask why, as the fan usually only comes on when the battery's charging on the mains! 😕
 
There is a heat issue with the unit. We upgraded the processor from a k2@450 to a k2+@500 but because of the heat he clocked it back to 475. He uses it as his primary system so it is running on AC most of the time. I suspect there are better fans out there then the stock unit for moving air and want to try one but so far have not found a source.
