Im unable to install windows 10 or linux on an SSD. It presently has a 500GB sata drive and I reinstalled windows 10 over the installation it came with so I knew the hardware was working.
laptop HP ProBook 6560b (LE550AV)
I reset the bios to factory due to discovering the DRIVELOCK was enabled and something called TPM set. Im not in security or admin. This is for personal use.
Anyway it boots fine on the original hardrive but not if I use 2 different ssd drives (which I know are good cause they work in other pcs!!) Any suggestions please..thanks n advance!

Have you tried updating the BIOS?
Have you tried changing the Bios setting for SATA Interface from SATA III 6Gb/s to SATA II 3Gb/s?

Google search says that model has some spotty SSD support, for instance Sandforce drives don't work... so good luck!
