I have an old laptop HDD that I want to put into some use by putting it in an external enclosure. Unfortunately, it is 12.5mm in thickness, and the majority of enclosures only fit 9.5mm thick HDDs.
I've searched on NewEgg as well as other reputable online stores, but they usually don't specify, and if they do, its always for 9.5mm. And looking at user comments, most are for 9.5mm HDDs as well. I've tried Googling for it, but have only come up with sketchy online stores. I've also had a friend refer me to a site, but the enclosures are way too expensive, in the $60-80 range.
Does anyone know where I can get an enclosure for 12.5mm HDDs for a decent price? Thanks in advance.
