Laptop doesn't turn on post-assemble

The other day, I tested my laptop with it's motherboard plugged into it's bare essentials for it to start up. It started up perfectly, so I turned it off. Two days after, I assembled it. I didn't give it another test run since it worked. After assembling it, it didn't turn on. Odd. So I thought it was a lose connection. I de-assembled it to it's bare essentials again, and it did not start up. The only reaction I get is the led emitting lighting upon plugging in the power adapter and another LED indicating it's charging after I plug in the battery.

EDIT:
Funny story, ,my ribbon cable was plugged in upsidedown
