Laptop display problem (HP 6735s)

Erratic

Junior Member
Hi,

I've got a bad inverter here on the display of the HP 6735s, and before I buy one, I was wondering if I have to buy a inverter designed for HP laptops (or the model itself) or if I can simply get away with using my old toshiba satellites inverter?

Thanks for any help in advance 🙂

You need an inverter with the same electrical specs for the performance and the same or compatible mechanical specs if you expect it to mount in the same place. An exact replacement is a sure bet, but if you want to find a replacement, you may be able to get the part number and specs from HP's website.

Is this your model? I found a lot of model numbers when I searched for parts for 6735s on this page. Select your exact model number, or enter your part number (p/n) or serial number (s/n) on this page.

Hope that helps. 🙂
