What kind of computer and laptop prices can we expect for Black Friday and Cyber Monday for i5 and i7 laptops and desktops and what company or companies give the best deals?

Looking at the Staples ad, it looks like the prices will come in around $400 and up:

Is that because quality and features on entry-level laptops have gone up, or is it because the economy is in the shitter, and we're starting to see the inflation finally resulting from QE policies (printing more money)?

SSDs and RAM have increased in price nearly 35-40% in the past 3-4 months alone.

I remember several years in a row, getting entry-level laptops from Walmart's early BF camp-outs for as low as $200, for a single-core AMD Sempron unit a few years back.

I'm really kind of surprised that they're not running with some Cherry Trail loss-leaders at $150-200.

He was asking what the prices started at for Core i5 laptops. If you want something with a Celeron and a pathetic amount of RAM and storage, you can get something as cheap as $99 from Dell this year.

I'm also interested in this. Looking for a 15" i7 with GTX-1070. Do you think there will be any deals this year, or will they only be looking to sell off the older graphics technology?

I'm hoping to see a 14-15'' model with at least an i5 and maybe a dedicated gaming card for $500-600.

Would love to see something nice on the 1060 based laptops, but the dell ad already looks like the normal sale prices ive been seeing at best buy the past week.

I'm also interested in an i7 quad core laptop with GTX 1060/1070. Best price I've seen so far is $1150 for a 15" with GTX 1060. OK price but not great. Looking for around $999

Looking for lightweight <= 14", i5, 8GB for $650-850. X1 Carbon and Latitude 7000 seem to be best options so far.
