Laptop -> Desktop IDE adapter, cheap?

Hi guys,

I am looking for one of those Laptop IDE (44pin) to standard IDE (40 pin) adapter cables. We had one at my last job in our comp lab but I don't know where they got it if it was a local store. I've looked online but the few places that have it seem to want $20-30 after shipping for one which seems ridiculous.

Anyone know a cheaper online store, or one with reasonable shipping? USPS would be fine/preferred. I expect this to be like a $5 part plus a couple bucks shipping, max $10...

I did find this cable which I've never seen before and seems cool, but its a lot more than I was looking to spend for basically a one time use situation (recovering a linux laptop hd, friend lost his root pw).
