I have an Acer Aspire 2010 and I want to upgrade to a faster CPU. I want one with a faster FSB and bigger cache, but am not sure if my motherboard will support any of the new Pentium M chips. Any suggestions? I've run CPU-Z and here's the bits about current CPU and motherboard info:
Motherboard:
Chipset: Intel i855GM/GME rev. A2
Southbridge: Intel 82801DB (ICH4-M)
Current CPU:
Intel Pentium M 1500MHz
Code Name: Banias
FSB 99.9MHz
Bus Speed: 399.7MHz
L1 Cache Data: 32KB
L1 Cache Code: 32KB
L2 Cache: 1024KB
Extra Bits:
Memory: 1280MB PC2700 DDR-SDRAM
Graphics: 64MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9700
Cheers, Matt
