Laptop Cooling Pad

I was thinking of getting a laptop cooling pad as I use the laptop often and it is generally on 24/7. The extra bucks isn't the problem, but is it really worth getting? I would want one with aluminum top and extended usb ports. I've seen some like this with three fans and 4 USB 2.0 slots. Sounds good to Me.

Any recommendations? Experiences?

As far as I'm concerned, one can almost never go wrong with extra cooling for any PC - probably moreso for notebooks.

If you've got money to spend then sure, go for it.

On the other hand, just propping up the back of your laptop to allow the fans to get more airflow would probably do much of the same thing.

I nabbed one on EBay with an aluminum body, three fans and 4 2.0 USB ports for about 20 bucks so not a bad deal I think.
