Hey guys I just bought a compaq 1216US presario.
And after playing DVD or CD for 2 hours the bottom of the laptop that is beneath the ram compartment is like "red hot coal type of hot" so I used a 120mm delta to cool it temporary.
The question in mind is that is there a external, solution that uses ac power/battery or even usb powered fan? It would be really nice if the thing is portable and yet blows hard at the same time. But actually I would prefer a cheap solution.
The delta solution cost about 15 bucks as I had to use a 12V DC adaptor. Anything below or equals to 15 bucks would be a go solution for me as I hope that by cooling my lappy externally I can prolong its life span.
TIA
