laptop cooler for 17 inch

my friend recently got a 17 inch dell 9300... anyone have any good suggestions for a laptop cooler?

Tried it with snow. No real difference. I took my normal metal surface for the laptop and cooled it with snow. The RAM and GPU temps may have lowered, but I saw no difference in CPU or HD.
