I have a laptop that wirelessly connects to many different networks thru the week.
Most are set up with DHCP, so it is no problem hooking up.
There is one network however, that I have to use a static IP.
Is there a way that I can connect to this network automatically like I do the others?

The laptop runs XP Pro SP2, btw.
thanx, Ron

Nope. If it doesn't get a DHCP lease, it's going to eventually time out and you can't have it default to a specific network setup, so far as I know.

In the network settings for TCP/IP, there is an alternate network configuration box where you can setup alternate information, but I don't know exactly how that works. I've always used NetSwitcher when I needed to have a bunch of different network profiles on my laptop.
