So, I bought this sweet gaming laptop from www.internetishop.com about a year ago. A while back, they filed for bankrupcy, so them, and the company that made my laptop, Hugebee, went out of business.

I am now in need of a battery for tha laptop, cause the one I have is pretty much dead. On the battery, it says it is made by ECS (Elitegroup Computer Systems) and the model # is NBP80B01

I checked their site but dont know where else to look. I really ope I can find this battery, and i am pretty pissed they went out of business. Any help is apprieciated

Battery companies can probably match the battery given the laptop info and part numbers / specs on the battery itself. Google on the battery part number and if that fails on just something like "laptop battery"

I would email ecs. They make barebone laptops and other companies toss in most of the parts. ECS is a also a motherboard company and they are still in bizniz.

A company might be able to match given specs and pictures, or might be able to rebuild it if you send it to them.

Since searching on the part has failed, you might check "laptop replacement battery", "laptop bebuild battery" and see what companies pop up. Then Google and check Resellerratings on the companies themselves.

>> I Found this.... is THIS a typical price for a notebook battery?!?!

Yes, $100-150 is typical.

IF you're good enough with electronics, you can take apart the battery that came with the laptop and replace the Li-ion cells.

better bang for buck, if a little bigger and heavier.
5 hr one is only 150.. and then theres the bigger one:)

and if u think 150 is much..u should see what sony charges for their batteries..let alone the extra capacity ones.

yeah, I think ill just get a replacement. I dont really have the space for that kind of a battery. And I think the crappy battery is at fault for a lot of the miniscule problems in this notebook

Are laptops like these upgradeable? I might consider doing that rather than selling this... no one will want it
