where can you buy a laptop case, if they are sold
i want to build one for gaming but dont want to spend as much as a retail one is.
if anyone knows where to get them or a good one to get please respond

it will be used for gaming and watching dvds

Just from the website I sent out I'd say a solid choice would be the Asus barebones listed here:

Bleh, I don't think it's worth buying barebones laptops, they're usually so high priced that you're usually up to at least the cost of a laptop by the time you add parts in, and that's not including the software.
 
Well I have a aopen 1559-as and it has cost me about 400uk pounds less tha buying. Its a sonoma based chipset and I have added a 1.25gb of ddr2 40gb sata drive and a 1.6 dothan (which is running 2.13 at 1.2v) It has a mxm module so is reasonably upgradeable later on. Its very enjoyable buldin a laptop and is quite easy.

The other thing you can do is look for ODMs (such as Clevo) who make laptops for other companies and see if you can get something direct from them. Hope it helps.
