i have an LG VX3100 cell phone and i bought a serial data cable for it ages ago with the intent of going online with it about the city. however i recently actually sat down with it an realized it came with NO software and its way too late to return, esp since it was on backorder for about 3 months prior to me even getting it.

anyhow,does anyone have any experience getting online with cell phones or maybe even per chance this phone? does anyone go on using hyperterminal and no extra software?
 
of course. most come with it but mine happens to be a "replacement" cable even though it costs the same damn amount as the full package. i got it right from LG's website too,which makes it that much worse.
