Hey all,
Anyway so I just got a used IBM Thinkpad 600X that has a built-in modem. I also picked up a 10/100 PCMCIA NIC for it so I can connect at home through DSL or the office through the T1. A new company (Cricket Communications) has also opened shop here locally offering unlimited cell phone calls for a flat monthly fee. I would like to pick up on their offer and be able to connect to my ISP on the road. I know the service coverage of this Cricket place is VERY limited, but I mainly exist in the heart of the city, where their development should be concentrated I imagine...
So here's my question. What do I need to do this? Like where can I find some sort of cable that will connect to my cell phone and then the laptop? How is the dialing done? I just have lots of questions I guess because I don't want to get a Cricket phone + service and then find out I can't do this idea... So anyway, if you could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it... Cheers!
