Laptop Case Selection in Chicago?

I'm looking to purchase a laptop messenger bag for this coming school year because i'm sick using the one I have currently. The compartment that protects the laptop takes up 70% of the bag so i can carry very little. I've been to OD, OM, etc but their selection is just crap. I want a bag that holds my laptop nicely plus has room to through in books, notebooks, binders, etc. It would be great if it's laptop compartment is removable. i was originally going to get this: Text the problem is i don't know which store would have a huge selection on laptop bags in chicago, any suggestions?
 
it's pretty hard to buy online for this type of stuff because, well for me anyways, i need to physically see the bag and imagine my books, etc in it.
