have a linksys wireless router.works fine when connecting with cat5,though when unplugged the system shows its connected though cant open up any web pages.get a blank screen.have gone through the network configuration and even rebooted, though still cant goi to any web sites when i open up i.e.
what's strange is the router worked just fine over at my other place.any help would be appreciated.
already been to the linksys site and have wep turned off.

Your wireless setting are not correct. Delete everything and start over on the router and the client and then report back🙂

Delete and redo the network config. or If you have security enabled use the same key on your laptop as on your router configuration. If you have MAC filtering enabled, delete and reenter the info on the router.

yes make sure ur wep is disabled or set propely on ur pc also..

if not reset the thing, start all over again..

make sure u have no software firewalls , if u do uninstall them . disabling them sometimes might not work.
