Laptop Button Broken

Hi,

What costs should I expect to pay for the fixing / replacement of my left manual mouse key on my laptop ( the one below the curser pad ) ?

I have been constantly playing a game over the last two years and now it has just ceased to function. It works one time in ten .

I was quoted 170.00 pounds.... but that seems very expensive. Should I just take it to a small computer hardware repair shop here in Belfast or send it back to the manufacturers...?

All good advice welcome,

Berne

170 pounds!?!?!?

What make and model is it?

How comfortable would you be with cracking that sucker open yourself?

i fixed something like this on a laptop before. had to buy a small board on ebay and take laptop apart. cost about $7.

Hi,

If I had the time...as I dont have any time I must leave it into a repair store....best price is 70 dollars...60UK pounds.

I have shopped around this is the best price.

Many thanks for the advisory.
