Laptop BSOD - Is it already done for?

I've had this Lenovo Y530 for just a year.. Today I started getting the BSOD on bootup, it wouldn't even make it to the login screen.

I tried all sorts of things, it pasts all diagnostic tests using the Ultimate Boot Up CD for Windows. I reset it to default settings in BIOS, which I believe was already done. Nothing. I finally resorted to deleting all the partitions and throwing in an XP disc. BSOD still.

I don't know what else I can possibly do. I'm starting to think it's a hardware issue now, despite its passing all the tests.

What it says exactly:

A problem has been deteced and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK / F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

Thank you in advance for any help.

Was your video card OC'ed before your BSOD started? It is possible that an overheated GPU could have done some permanent damage to your laptop.

You can also try booting up in safe mode to see if the BSOD occurs. If you installed programs or updated drivers before this happened, I would really look into it.
