Laptop BIOS passwords

I just got a bunch of laptops (2nd tier from a govt auction) but they have bios passwords that I just cant seem to get past. Ive tried removing the batteries for long periods of time. Ive even opened the systems up to look for the CMOS battery (cant find it). Does anybody know any other way to clear the bios passwords? I cant even boot with the passwords on.

You need to find the CMOS battery or find out if there is a jumper for reseting the bios. Only two ways to remove a bios password, other than with a hammer.

I recently found a freeware program called WipeCMOS which got into my
password protected Compaq laptop BIOS using the safe wipe option. It
may work for you.

WipeCMOS can be downloaded from here

It all depends on the kind of brand the notebook is dell and HP ar verry well "protected"

But there are masterpasswords available true the service points of hp and dell.

Good luck
